Blues In E

I'm gonna go over these thing really quick because there are endless lessons on this site for the things above and if you get stuck you can check'em out

1. The Blues Scale

Ok here it is, look at it and get it down (this is position 1&2 for E blues)

|-0-|---|---|-3-|---|-5-| The rest of the # are the frets(1 fret,2fret,Ect,)

2. The Pentitonic Scale

|-0-|---|---|-3-|---|-5-| missing 2 passing tones (Notes)

3. Chords E,A,B7


Ok for all of you people out there that know your chords, yes, you can use 7th's and bar chords and 5th's and all of the other shit but lets keep it simple (So here are chords you need to get down)

4. 12bar Blues Pattern

Ok as T stated at the top I'm not going to go over everything so heres the 12bar blues pattern and if you need help with it there's bound to be a lesson about 12bar somewhere on this site that puts thing more clearly

Each number is a strum so you would strum each bar 4 times


Ok time for the lesson. Each time your done with struming a chord just put a little lick to lengthen the bar like this:

A nice easy turn aroundat the end of bar8 using the notes of bar8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 you could just use riff 1 between bars 1&2, 4&5, 6&7, 10&11 and as a turnaround on bar 12 put your own riffs and licks in between the chords or play them over the chords if you have a rythem player.
